Accuracy depends mainly on how carefully the credit-card outline is matched and whether browser zoom remains unchanged. Recalibrate after changing zoom, display scaling, monitor, or device.

What happens when an object is larger than the screen?

The tool preserves the object's proportions and shows the largest version that fits, together with the scale ratio and exact dimensions.

Does the tool upload my measurements?

No. Measurements and calibration are processed locally in the browser. Calibration may be saved on the device for convenience.

Why screen calibration is necessary

A browser usually knows how many pixels it can draw, but not the exact physical density of the display. Browser “inches” are therefore often logical units rather than literal ruler inches.

This tool solves that problem with a known reference: a standard bank card is 85.60 millimeters wide and 53.98 millimeters high. Once its outline matches a real card, the visualizer can convert your measurements into calibrated screen pixels.

What the result means

Actual size · 1:1: the object fits and is rendered at calibrated physical scale.
Scaled · 1:x: the object is too large, so the tool shows a proportional reduction and states the ratio.
Exact dimensions: the original measurements remain visible even when the drawing is reduced.
